But only because we’ve had an extensive discussion before over that station’s repeated misplacing of my mail. I get really friendly service now and they don’t ask for ID when picking something up. There are benefits to being assertive. But yesterday -ahem- several days ago, the post office guy knowing my name was in conjunction with the postoffice guy having a box for me.

A while back, Jen started talking about a collaboration the Piddleloop team was doing with some other fine crafty folk. And I started wondering what on earth was going on and I watched and waited and one day, got word that the product of the collaboration (ie: sock kit extraordiniare)was being posted on Etsy. Turns out that the day this got posted on Etsy was the same day I missed work because my mechanic couldn’t pull his head out of his ass long enough to tell me that I wouldn’t really get my car back that day or the next day or the next day but that is really beside the point. Point is I was home. And I needed this sock kit.

I am so impressed! Everything is stunning. Check out this yarn! They had it custom dyed to match the fabric used in the sock bag and matching notions baggie.
