Run by commenting and ahem.

I think I was just attacked by my Secret Pal from the SP9. She’s a smart one too. Left a comment on my questionnaire… (eta: I moved the SP9 questionnaire, so I’m sorry, but comments were deleted. Thanks for understanding!) I clicked on her name… the link she left? "imnottellin.com" I about fell out of my chair laughing. I bet she knew I’d be trying to check that out to see if there was a real link or not! Score 1 for the SP!
I also need to tell all y’all something.
I am VERY VERY VERY pleased to present my very first knitted lace. This is also my first shawl. She’s drying as you read this.

Pattern: Swallowtail Shawl from Interweave Knits
Yarn: Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport in Baltic Sea (a little over a ball and a half.)
Needles: KP Options #5 tips with a 32" cable
Start: Sept 16, 2006 Finish: Oct 5, 2006
Notes: None.
I would love to sit down and figure out how to rewrite it so that I can make it bigger. I like how quickly it knit up for me though. I really like the pattern and the only obvious mistake is a hole where there should be none in the edging. This is not a yarn over, but a result of extra yarn in there from a mistake yarn over that I made and then dropped and tried to shift the yarn about to close the hole up. Didn’t work. Luckily its not a hole that will do any damage.
Oh. And one last thing, the Bug informed me that he’s no longer going to tolerate the baths I give him in the tub once a month.

Apparently he would MUCH prefer the dishwasher.

Wow, that’s looking quite good after blocking. Blocking is such a great thing.

Beautiful Shawl!!! I have been wanting to make that shawl for me. Lace is so much fun to do, and it amazes the non knitters

Ooh, so pretty! I’m definitely going to have to make that now, even if I don’t know what to do with it.

Your shawl is lovely! I’m thinking of making this for a gift. Look at this person’s blog - she made the shawl bigger - see her comments on repeats http://treschicveronique.blogspot.com/
